Turkish Ministers in Islamabad
Turkiye’s foreign and defence ministers arrived in Pakistan on Tuesday night for a key visit aimed at boosting bilateral ties. The high-level meetings are expected to further strengthen Turkey Pakistan Military Relations, focusing on defense collaboration, strategic planning, and regional security.

The delegation includes FM Hakan Fidan and Defence Minister Yasar GĂĽler. They were received at Nur Khan Airbase by Ambassador Syed Ali Asad Gillani. They will discuss security, defence, and counter-terrorism cooperation.
Meetings With Top Officials
The ministers will meet PM Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy PM Ishaq Dar, and COAS Asim Munir. Their agenda includes reviewing the progress made during the February 2025 Strategic Council meeting, a crucial step in advancing Turkey Pakistan Military Relations and deepening long-term defense cooperation between the two nations.

Turkiye is now Pakistan’s second-largest arms supplier, fulfilling 11% of its defence needs in 2023.
Talks will focus on expanding military cooperation and strategic coordination.
