Pakistani Squad Makes Its Mark
The Pakistani team featured Mohammad Huzaifa, Shayan Asad, Falak Sher, Hasnain Rehman, and Syed Sameer. The players maintained their position among the leading teams despite strong competition from some of Asia’s established esports nations. Their combined performance across the 12 matches earned Pakistan its place on the Asian Games podium.
Pakistan Adds Another Bronze
The PUBG Mobile medal became Pakistan’s fifth medal at the 2026 Asian Games. The country’s other medals at the Games have come from women’s cricket, modern MMA, and men’s singles squash. The esports bronze therefore adds a new discipline to Pakistan’s medal haul at the continental sporting event.
Esports Gains Greater Recognition
PUBG Mobile was included as an official medal event at the Asian Games, marking its second appearance after making its debut at the 2022 Hangzhou Games. The 2026 competition brought together national teams from across Asia and highlighted the growing role of esports within major multi-sport events. Pakistan’s podium finish also provides another notable result for the country’s competitive gaming scene.
A Memorable Moment for Pakistan
Pakistan’s bronze-medal finish in PUBG Mobile has added a new chapter to the country’s Asian Games campaign. After two days and 12 matches, the team finished with 100 points and secured a place among the top three esports teams in the competition.
