Latest News: Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Thursday described it as a great honour and matter of pride that Saudi Arabia entrusted Pakistan with the sacred duty of safeguarding the Holy Mosques (Haramain Sharifain). He highlighted the Pakistan Holy Mosques protection role. He described the responsibility as historic and a symbol of Pakistan’s growing prestige on the international stage.

The agreement was signed during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia. It underlines both countries’ commitment to enhancing security, promoting peace, and ensuring regional and global stability. The pact also strengthens mutual defense cooperation.
